in Outlook or Word, when you type a --> (minus minus greater) it is interpreted and replaced by an arrow which is nice and handy. I see that Pagico does something similar but it's not very consistend and looks not so really nice. Perhaps a new feature can help here

Thank you for your input! That double-minus-replaced-by-a-single-dash is totally done by the operating system. But I can see why a better looking arrow symbol is desired. We'll see if we can squeeze something like this in the near future.
