Be nice to be able to sort tasks in the All Task view by project / contact.

CM Official comment Kevin,
Have you tried switching to a project, then go to the Timeline view and switch to the List View inside? Let me know if this is what you're looking for.
Or would you rather see tasks from multiple projects being presented in the same view instead?
Thank you!

Keith Taylor I agree - that sorting and exporting are probably the weakest areas of the system and need some focus to allow us all to view and use our important data

Kevin CM,
Yes, being able to see multiple projects presented in the same view would be helpful. That is what I mean.

Kevin I've given this a little more thought. I think having 3 different views (at least initially would be great):
- All Tasks grouped by due date(lists tasks by due date. 1st are overdue, then scheduled this week, then scheduled next week, then someday..
- By Project which lists all the tasks grouped by their project regardless of their status.
- By Contact lists all the tasks grouped by their contact regardless of their status.
Would love to hear other peoples thoughts on this..

Steve C I love the current Timeline views, but I guess we can never have too many ways to view our data. Kevin's suggested three views look like an excellent starting point to me. I'd also like the option to see Notes and attachments in the three views too.

none I would like to have the ability to sort by due date added to the Inbox, and even other containers (this would be in addition to the current options of Type, Newest, and Manually). Being able to prioritize by due date is key for many of these spaces.

Kevin I think by the popularity of this thread, improved task management is clearly one of the the things that benefit Pagico the most.

CM Thank you all for your input! We'll look at all these needs and see how we can implement something to enhance productivity without introducing friction.

none Agreed on the improved task management area. Would also love some more robust filters that would allow for things like sorting the Inbox to see only tasks due today, or today+tomorrow, in the next 3 days, next week, etc. 2Do does this very well and it's helpful for bringing focus to a long list of items.

Michael Rhodes Having a "Newest on Bottom" order option would be great for Lists. I'm creating a template and had to redo a set of lists a few times until I realized that in the Project view (I think) lists can't be moved. At least in the beta of 8.7 (build 2140) that I'm using.

Christian I don't understand why projects are not ordered by their dates in the timeline view. I have several projects that have late start and due dates but are shown near the top of my timeline view, above those projects with earlier start are due dates. In list view the order is correct.

CM @Christian,
On the Dashboard Timeline, projects are listed alphabetically, but within a project, all items are rendered based on their due dates, from old to new.

CM @Michael,
Indeed in Pagico (version < 8.15), objects can't be sorted when using the By Type display mode. But since Pagico 8.15, you can reorder objects as you wish even when using the By Type display mode. Hope this helps a bit!

Christian Okay, I understand, but it would make sense to list projects chronologically in a timeline, wouldn't it?
