Hi,
The ability to right click on an item on the Today screen and add a subitem to a task is a great idea, but it doesn't show up in Today. You have to right click on the task again and choose → Reveal in order to find where it added the subitem. It really should show up on the Today screen right under the item you added to. Thanks for considering this.

Thank you for your input! That was an unintended feature - the "Quick Add" feature should really only be visible inside a data container (ie. a project or a contact). We've since disabled this feature when accessed from outside of a container (e.g. on the Today view). The Today view isn't designed to handle the hierarchy of nested tasks at the moment.
