Instead of 'Contacts',
a List of Records with customized 'Key:Value' pairs, not tied to a 'Person or Organization' :
The ItemRecord.
Used as a means of Inventory, Organization, Documentation, and ItemRecord would essentially be a Contact, sans the human implications.
Using the Ket:Value pair in wider interpretation, one could organize a storage system, library, catalogue, collection, archive, etc.
Think: Many records
with an 'Input New record' template
(for example)
