I've been testing Pagico and I really want to like this software. It is such a good idea but I have to admit I am concerned about the number of inconsistencies in the software.
For exmaple, when I'm in a project and click "edit tags" I see that I have 7 tags total, with one applied to the project.
However, under "Dashboard > Tags" it only lists three tags:
This doesn't make sense to me. Am I missing somehting obvious?

Sorry for the late response! Indeed spaces cause problem for certain tags, so the recommended approach is to use hyphens in place of spaces. e.g. @Checking-Account, as @dlh suggested.
Indeed we've been looking into a mysterious issue where the Tags view may present a blank view for unknown reasons. But for now, a workaround is to click on the "Rebuild Tag Cache" if you are looking at a blank Tags view. That should bring everything back right away.
We'll certainly get the tags rendering issue sorted out shortly. I apologize for the inconvenience!
At least you were able to add tags. I can't even figure out how to do that.
Just type @ and then the tag. Eg @email.
Thanks for the suggestion, philwild736. But typing @ does not resolve the issue. The issue is any tag with a blank space in it (e.g. "Checking Account") isn't parsed correctly and therefore does not show up on the Dashboard -> Tags screen.
This has been confirmed by Notes17's support.
The obvious workaround is to avoid using spaces in tags ("CheckingAccount", "Checking-Account", "Checking_Account").
My hope is this will be fixed in the next release of Pagico.

I'm clicking on sidebar tags and categories, I have nothing in Tags, Categories is as expected.
if I click on contacts, I can see that I have have tags, as expected.
Shouldn't I be able to see tags, when I click on tags?

You should definitely be able see your tags in the new Tags and Categories section! With the latest release (r20210128) already addressed this issue, I'll mark this thread as completed.
@dlh2109, indeed tags cannot contain spaces. I'd recommend using hyphens (-) in place of spaces.
