Beter list item input

• Let’s be able to input a list item at position in the list, so I don’t have to drag the thing all the way up. Which I have to do a lot when refining the list
• When doing these actions I can’t indent the list item with a keyboard shortcut and so I have to use the mouse ( again )
• When indenting please change the list items number to parent number .x ( eg. 13.4 )

In short: rework lists/list input

  Thank you for reaching out! I’ll be happy to help. 

  We'll certainly improve the list writing experience  so that you can insert new items at arbitrary points, as well as the auto-numbering of sub items. In terms of keyboard shortcuts for indenting and outdenting list item (while you write them), please use Cmd + ] and [ (square brackets).

  Hi! 

  No that doesn't work in this scenario. When I have indented the item I can't move it up/down anymore. I can only indent the item when I am editing it and usually this doesn't work when doing a second edit, so I have to select it with the icon at the end of the line.

  This clearly hasn't been tested for convenience.

  Thank you for the additional input! We'll improve the way list editing works for sure.
