does Pagico have a recycle bin? Files not actually deleted.

Hello,

When I delete a file in the Pagico application, I can still see the file if I open up the Pagico database with the finder (OSX 10.12.6), so the file is still there, un-indexed, taking up space on my hard drive.  I deleted the file, I did not archive it.  Is there some kind of "recycle bin" feature I am unaware of where one has to perform some "empty the trash" operation in order to get files physically deleted from the database?

I know hard drives are ridiculously large these days, but I am considering using Pagico to manage my scientific research projects, and if the files I am working with continue to have a footprint on my drive forever, it is going to add up.

Linking to the files while leaving them outside the Pagico database is not a good option, because then I have to have parallel file managment activities, one inside the Pagico application and then also manage the file outside in the operating system.  This would defeat the purpose of using Pagico.

Thanks a bunch for any answers you can give me.
