The new feature "linked container" doesn't work on ubuntu,

This is caused by the search engine not being ready, and since the linked container feature relies on the search engine, it reports this issue when you try to use it.
Have you tried a computer restart? Please kindly let me know if that helps. If not, we'll try to clear the search engine database which may get corrupted over time.

Sean Wahl Same Issue on macOS, also the update crashed on start requiring a reinstall of the app.
Rebooted, reinstalled, etc. still this popup :/

Just tried modding the security settings as well, with gatekeeper and the firewall turned off, and no dice. it survives a reboot and a restart.
So far the trial I installed in Ubuntu GNOME 17.04, currently works fine.

Great news! We've fixed this issue in our newly updated Mac version. Please head to the https://www.pagico.com/download/ section and grab the latest update. From this point, any time the front-end search engine is corrupted (causing the error above), a simple relaunch would clear the problem up right away.
