I know that you can create custom fields on contact records with the format field:data.
I would like to create a link on contacts in Pagico, that is clickable to another application. Here's my use-case:
I keep data organized by person in DevonThink Pro Office. In DTPO I can copy the link to an item (in this cast a smart group for a person) and past that link somewhere else. It has an application link format, so that when I click on it, it opens up DTPO directly to that smart group.
This is an easy way for me to keep all content associated with one person over a long period of time and from various sources, linked in other applications where that person appears.
When I create a field on a contact in Pagico, say DTPO:link, it shows the link, but it is not clickable from their contact record.
DTPO:x-devonthink-item://508D5E2C-35B5-401D-8B60-D654BF2B6BE8
Hope that makes sense. I can create everything, but I can't figure out how to create it as a clickable link in Pagico on the contact, rather than just showing the link data.
I am guessing this is because Pagico is not a native Mac OS app? Any way to make Pagico recognize application links?
I'm still learning Pagico, so maybe I'll figure out a way to make it my 'filing cabinet' rather than my 'current activity' manager, but right now, it seems like DTPO is better at the filing cabinet role, and being able to link Pagico back to content in DTPO would be a huge boost to my workflow.
